When you use AI chat or AI-generated exercises, or listen to pronunciations, the text involved (for example your messages, vocabulary words and the text to be read aloud) is sent to third-party providers that process it on our behalf: language-model providers (OpenAI and OpenRouter, together with the model providers behind it, such as Google) and speech-synthesis providers (Google Cloud Text-to-Speech and fish.audio). We send only the text needed for the request. These providers may process data outside the EEA (see section 8). Please do not enter sensitive personal information in AI chat.
